- 1 tbsp rava, semolina, or suji (fine)
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons oil
- Water for kneading
- Oil for frying.
DIRECTIONS
First, combine 2 cups wheat flour, 1 tablespoon rava, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 2 teaspoons oil in a big bowl.
Make sure the flour is moist and crumble and combine thoroughly.
Now knead the dough after adding water.
Knead the dough firmly while adding water as necessary.
Now pinch a dough ball the size of a football and roll it into a log.
Slice into pieces, then form them into tiny balls.
Put the balls and 1 teaspoon oil in a small bowl. To keep the ball from drying out, oil it.
now use a rolling pin to roll a ball.
roll to a moderate thickness.
In the hot oil, drop the rolled dough.
Splash oil on the puri and push until it puffs up entirely.
Fry it until it turns golden brown on the other side.
The poori can now be drained and served with aloo bhaji.
