Refreshing Mango Lassi

Ingredients

  • 400 g fresh mango (3–4 mangoes, chilled or frozen)
  • 200–250 g full-fat yogurt (chilled)
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • ¼ tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • Sugar 
  • Water or milk 

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the mangoes into chunks.
  2. In a blender, combine the mango chunks and yogurt, blending until smooth. Depending on your blender’s capacity, you may need to blend the mangoes first before adding the yogurt.
  3. Add the ground cardamom, sea salt, and sugar. Blend again until fully incorporated.
  4. Adjust sweetness to taste and gradually add water or milk until the mixture reaches a thick, pourable consistency.
  5. Refrigerate the lassi until thoroughly chilled. Optionally, garnish with a light sprinkle of cardamom before serving.
