Vegetarian Tofu Supreme

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 firm tofu square pieces
  • Cooked Bean sprouts 150g
  • 1 cup shredded cucumber
  • 1 carrot

(Peanut sauce)

  • 300g of air fried grounded peanuts
  • 8 Chillie Padi
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 shallots
  • ½ cup sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • 3 tablespoons of palm sugar
  • ½ cup hot water
  • Sugar to taste
  • Lime Juice to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend all the ingredients for the peanut sauce and add sugar and lime juice to taste and set aside
  2. Preheat the air fryer for 1 minute over 200 C.
  3. Lightly brush some oil over the tofu squares and air fry them for around 7-8 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Then serve the tofu on a plate with shredded cucumber, cooked bean sprouts and shredded carrot.
  5. Pour in the peanut sauce and serve!
