
INGREDIENTS
- 6 firm tofu square pieces
- Cooked Bean sprouts 150g
- 1 cup shredded cucumber
- 1 carrot
(Peanut sauce)
- 300g of air fried grounded peanuts
- 8 Chillie Padi
- 5 garlic cloves
- 2 shallots
- ½ cup sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 3 tablespoons of palm sugar
- ½ cup hot water
- Sugar to taste
- Lime Juice to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Blend all the ingredients for the peanut sauce and add sugar and lime juice to taste and set aside
- Preheat the air fryer for 1 minute over 200 C.
- Lightly brush some oil over the tofu squares and air fry them for around 7-8 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Then serve the tofu on a plate with shredded cucumber, cooked bean sprouts and shredded carrot.
- Pour in the peanut sauce and serve!
