Here’s a simple recipe for Garlic Parmesan Chicken Alfredo Sliders:
Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
For the Sliders:
- Mini slider buns
- Fresh spinach or arugula
- Sliced tomatoes (optional)
- Additional grated Parmesan for topping
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and dried basil.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes per side). Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into thin strips.
In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic for the Alfredo sauce. Sauté the garlic until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Bring it to a simmer, and then reduce the heat to low.
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the sliced chicken back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, coating the chicken evenly with the sauce.
Slice the slider buns in half and place them on a baking sheet. Spoon some of the chicken Alfredo mixture onto the bottom half of each bun.
Top the chicken with fresh spinach or arugula and sliced tomatoes if desired. Place the top half of the buns on the toppings.
Sprinkle additional grated Parmesan on top of each slider.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted.
Serve the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Alfredo Sliders warm and enjoy!
