- 1 cup leveled and spooned all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons of salt
- A cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter
- Maple syrup and butter for serving (as desired)
Waffle maker should be preheated in line with manufacturer recommendations. Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl; place aside.
Gently add in the butter.
Cook waffles in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions until deep brown and crisp. (To make a waffle in a regular waffle iron, generously pour 1/2 cup of batter into the center, spreading it to the edges by 1/2 inch, and then cover. Waffles cook in 2 to 3 minutes.)
As desired, serve warm with butter and maple syrup.
