INGREDIENTS
- All-purpose flour, 1 1/2 cups
- White sugar, 1/4 cup
- Baking powder, two teaspoons
- Salt, 1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil, 1/3 cup
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup milk, or as much as necessary
- 1 cup of blueberries, fresh
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- One-third cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cubed butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder
DIRECTIONS
The oven should be preheated to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Prepare 8 muffin tins with grease or paper liners.
To make the muffins, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a sizable bowl.
Fill a little liquid measuring cup with oil. Stir in the egg and 1 cup of milk, then add the remaining milk. Just enough batter must be mixed after pouring into the flour mixture. After adding the blueberries, fold the batter.
In a separate bowl, mix the sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon to make the crumb topping. With a fork, combine until crumbly.
Fill each prepared muffin cup with batter all the way to the top. Add some crumb topping.
