INGREDIENTS
- 600g squid rings
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Vegetable oil for frying
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 300ml fresh milk
- 150g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
- 50g bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
DIRECTIONS
- Wash, drain, and pat the squid to dry with a paper towel. Cut them into rings and place them in a large bowl. Add the milk and the garlic powder and let them soften for 15 minutes and drain.
- Mix the paprika powder, Cajun seasoning, breadcrumbs, onion powder, and flour and blend. Coat the squid rings with the flour mixture.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and deep fry the squid rings until golden brown and crisp and pat the excess oil with a paper towel once taken out of the pan.
- Add salt to taste and serve with ketchup or a dip of choice!
